M&S Plant Kitchen


THE BRIEF: Heaps + Stacks were asked to design and produce the launch of M&S’s vegan range, Plant Kitchen.

THE DELIVERY: The event took the format of a Food Festival at The Vinyl Factory in Soho with various ranges being shown off as food vendors with stands and vans serving the Plant Kitchen collection.

The event was styled as an urban, festival inspired night market. For the first time suppliers became ‘food vendors’ and served directly from the stands and vans so it had a street-food feel - which worked incredibly well. We dressed the venue with festoon lights, neon slogan signs, rustic furniture and chalkboards to mimic popular night markets like Street Feast and Dinerama.

Highlights included a woodfired oven within a Land Rover and a VW camper van serving the new vegan burgers and sausoyages. We also created a Tiki Bar which featured a new Vegan Pina Colada, a cocktail with cashew milk and the new power smoothies and juice shots.

The event had over 200 attendees, including key target national and consumer press, along with a brilliant number of new high-level influencers and prominent figures in the health and vegan Instagram communities.
